We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to perform various machining operations
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine machining requirements
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning
- Inspect finished components for accuracy and quality
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
Requirements
- Proficiency in operating CNC lathe machines
- Knowledge of CAD software for reading engineering drawings
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machine issues
- Experience with materials handling and tooling
- Experience in programming Doosan 220LSY, 220, 2100L with bar feeders or other similar multi axes machines advantageous.
Skills
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets
- Ability to assemble and handle materials effectively
- Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with CAD software for reading technical drawings
- Knowledge of Fanuc software
- Competence in using hand tools for adjustments and maintenance
- Experience with milling processes is advantageous
