Job Description Overview
Ideally the candidate will have some System Administrator experience with the skills to co-manage operational duties in areas of automation, monitor and ability to review our current processes and propose / implement agreed improvements. Preferably they will possess skills or be prepared to be trained to provide support with OneWorld XE or higher, Qlik Sense, nPrinting and various iSeries automated tasks. The candidate will also be required to have skills or be prepared to be trained to provide support in other areas in addition to those already mentioned, more details of additional technical skills are defined below..
Job Responsibilities
- Create/amend OneWorld logins
- Create/amend OneWorld security groups & menu roles
- Maintain details for TSM’s OneWorld access for SOX extracts and managers signoff.
- Ensure everyone follows / work within our change control process.
- Manage all OneWorld environments and servers.
- Manage software promotions and package build & deployments.
- Manage / add Data Dictionary items, glossary & specific user defined codes.
- Manage environment data refreshes and file purges.
- Monitor/log excess failed logins.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve any OneWorld application or server / middleware issues.
- Setup Printers within the OneWorld applications.
- Manage Qlik Sense & nPrinting Servers.
- Maintain details for TSM’s Qlik Sense access assigned & security setup.
- Setup and Define TSM’s Qlik Sense document access.
- Setup and maintain Qlik Sense & nPrinting document automation.
- First line support of all production & test iSeries servers automated tasks.
- Responding and resolving all error/wait messages on the production servers during day and night.
- This includes identifying cause of issue, impact of action taken to resolve & contacting owner of any process that failed providing details of issue / action taken and further action required.
- Upkeep of scheduled overnight job file.
- Upkeep of cl scripts for Sequel Viewpoint automated jobs.
- Manage scheduled jobs and email groups on all production servers for day and night tasks.
- Monitor production servers during heavy usage periods i.e. month-end.
- Solosoft (Agility) & Wrist Scanners: Create and maintain user logins on the radio frequency server.
- Create and maintain user logins for the warehouse wrist scanner and handheld devices.
- Sales Force: Create new login and disable when notified.
- Department Documentation: Upkeep and amend department documentation.
- For all applications we support forward all change requests with required attached documentation (approvals obtained etc) to CCDA.
- Setup and maintain documentation/library area.
- Complete handover at end of each day.
- Maintain Server list, this includes all servers used by Business Systems i.e. Web server, OneWorld servers, Citrix servers, RF servers etc.
- Maintain list of all PC’s/ Servers that have OneWorld installed.
Job Skills & Experience Required
To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
- Skill & Experience: Oneworld XE or higher: Knowledge of Oneworld Operations, Development & Administration tools.
- iSeries Operations & Administration: Operational understanding of work management processes for subsystems, jobqs, memory allocation, active jobs etc.
- Accustom with performance monitoring and tuning and the ability to use both green screen and iNavigator.
- Working knowledge of CL with addition of SQL & query.
- MPLUS Qlik Sense & nPrinting: Knowledge of Qlik Sense development and administration tasks Knowledge of nPrinting development and administration tasks
- For all mentioned above qualifications or experience in some, or all is desirable but in-house training will be given.
