Job Description Job Title: Buyer Account & Finance Consultant Department: Henry Schein Dental Practice Sales Reports To: Business Manager Location: Derby Referral Scheme Level: ☐ Operational ☒ Professional/General ☐ Technical ☐ High Demand Primary Objective To deliver a seamless end-to-end acquisition experience for dental practice buyers by identifying suitable opportunities, managing buyer relationships and coordinating acquisition finance. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the role, as reasonably required by the business to meet operational and commercial objectives. Overview: As a Buyer Account & Finance Consultant, you will support dental professionals throughout their practice acquisition journey, from initial enquiry through to completion. The role combines buyer relationship management and acquisition finance consultancy. You will identify, qualify, and manage prospective purchasers, matching buyers with suitable opportunities and supporting the dental practice sales process. In addition, you will arrange and coordinate acquisition funding through Henry Schein Financial Services' panel of specialist healthcare lenders. You will act as a central point of contact for buyers, building trusted relationships, managing transactions, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring a seamless customer experience throughout the purchasing journey. There will be opportunities to participate in networking events, industry exhibitions, and business development initiatives. We offer a flexible hybrid working environment, combining home and office-based working; the office is based in Derby. Previous experience in sales, customer relationship management, banking, financial services, estate agency, business development, or a related sector is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify and manage prospective dental practice purchasers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, lenders, brokers, advisers and industry contacts.
- Match buyers with suitable practice opportunities and coordinate introductions, viewings and related documentation.
- Support buyers throughout the acquisition process, providing guidance, updates and transaction management from enquiry to completion.
- Gather, review and assess financial information to support acquisition finance applications.
- Prepare, submit and manage finance applications with specialist healthcare lenders.
- Liaise with all parties involved in transactions, including banks, solicitors, accountants, brokers and clients, ensuring efficient progression and communication.
- Present and explain funding options and lending terms to clients.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, CRM systems and transaction documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, FCA requirements (where applicable), data protection legislation and confidentiality standards.
- Support business development activities, including lead generation, networking events, exhibitions and market research.
- Identify opportunities to introduce clients to relevant Henry Schein products and services.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications
Good standard of Education up to A level / NVQ. Excel and MS Office suite accreditation preferrable.
