As a Senior Pensions Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of pension scheme governance, ensuring full compliance and addressing any diversions from the scheme business plan. You will also lead client pensions management projects and contribute to the refinement of pensions management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead outsourced support for in-house pensions teams

  • Act as scheme secretary on permanent or interim basis

  • Oversee delivery of pension scheme governance ensuring compliance

  • Own scheme business plan and address any diversions

  • Monitor budget, ensure recovery and profitability, identify out-of-scope activities

  • Build professional network and identify business development opportunities

  • Participate in new business pitches and deliver client seminars

  • Act as line manager, mentor, and support to team

  • Solid pensions industry background with scheme secretarial and governance experience

  • Recent experience in role with occupational pension scheme responsibilities

  • Full understanding of pension management and work carried out

  • Technical understanding of pension legislation, regulations, and relevant codes

  • Excellent budget management skills

  • Proven track record of project management exposure
