This is a newly created role for a respected Essex-based Legal 500 firm as they look to take the next step in their exciting growth plans.
This role will see you sitting within the Legal Finance team but working very closely with the Partners, Heads of Department, and fee earners across multiple legal disciplines. As you would expect, this is a very hands-on role with the primary responsibility to ensure that all professional legal fees are billed accurately and processed in a timely manner. You will be supported by the Head of Finance and Compliance team in developing, streamlining, and implementing billing procedures to ensure the best possible practice for each department.
This unique role offers a very varied and rewarding workload where no day will be the same. Applications are likely from individuals doing a similar role within Legal Aid or Chambers. However, we are keen to hear from paralegals, experienced legal assistants looking to expand their roles to include legal finance, or legal cashiers eager for more interaction with fee earners and clients.
This is a great opportunity to join a private practice on an upward trajectory with excellent career prospects. Benefits include a competitive salary, remuneration, benefits, and a hybrid working policy.
