Our client, a specialist law firm, is seeking a Solicitor to join their fast-paced legal team in Hertfordshire. This exciting role will see you managing your own cases in a busy team where you will have paralegal support. The role will be around property litigation matters acting for the defence, forfeiture claims and possessions. You will provide solutions, guidance and clear legal advice to clients and demonstrate experience to be able to represent at court proceedings. This role is crucial in helping the firm's clients navigate complex property disputes effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage claims related to unpaid charges
- Advise clients on risks both landlord & tenant
- Draft legal documentation
- Liaise with clients and third parties to progress cases
- Represent clients in court hearings
- Ensure matters progress in line with relevant legislation
- Negotiate and settle
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (NQ-5 PQE)
- Experience in property litigation
- Good advocacy skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a professional and friendly team environment
