Our client is looking to expand its property department and we are seeking a Paralegal, either full time or part time with experience, and a minimum of 3 years in commercial and residential matters, to support the fee earners and be the first point of contact for clients and intermediaries.
The work will be non-contentious acquisitions and sales of property and land and will enable you to support all the legal advice to clients, whilst you will have the opportunity to manage your own files with supervision.
We are seeking someone who can be the first point of contact for clients, including meetings, and key duties will include:
- Experience in property law for both residential and commercial
- Ability to draft responsibly with good CMS and IT/Typing skills
- A proactive individual, who is a very good communicator, friendly and professional
- Good organiser, able to keep work flowing and files up to date
- Good knowledge of understanding of the Conveyancing process
- Lease extensions, Transfers of equity, Landlord and tenant and Plot sales
- Take the lead on billings and invoicing
