This is a role supporting the MD and we are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary with commercial property transactional work. You will be part of a busy team, offering high quality legal services and you are likely to be the first point of contact for clients and other third parties.

This role is fast-paced and we are seeking someone who can ensure close attention to detail and can offer a pro-active approach, and take responsibility for:

  • Open and maintain client files
  • Produce letters, forms and legal documents to a high standard
  • Handle telephone enquiries in a professional manner
  • Perform general office duties (photocopying, scanning, filing etc.)
  • Conduct property searches using appropriate online platforms
  • Manage post-completion - SDLT submissions and Land Registry registrations
  • Carry out searches and handle Land Registry applications
  • Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold firm procedures at all times

To be considered, you will be working in a similar role and have good typing speed, coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills and be highly organised with a professional attitude.
