To support thecontinued development of our primary provision, we are seeking dedicated andenthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team. This is a rewardingopportunity to work closely with pupils and teaching staff to help create asafe, supportive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in deliveringengaging and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
- Work with individual pupils or small groupsto support their learning, development and engagement.
- Assist in implementing behaviour strategiesthat support pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural needs.
- Help create and maintain a safe, structuredand positive learning environment.
- Contribute to monitoring pupil progress andprovide feedback to the class teacher and wider staff team.
Key Requirements
- Experience of working with children oryoung people, ideally within a school or educational setting.
- An understanding of, or interest in,supporting pupils with SEMH needs and additional learning needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills,with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils andcolleagues.
- Patience, resilience and the ability toremain calm and supportive in challenging situations.
- A positive and proactive attitude with acommitment to supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
