Permanent position, 2 days per week, Term Time Only + 5 days INSET totalling 39 working weeks.

Location: Branthwaite Academy, Branthwaite Road, Workington, Cumbria CA14 4SS

Salary: £32,061.00 FTE Pro Rata Plus £2000.00 BA SEN Allowance (pro rata) on satisfactory completion of probationary period.

Start Date: ASAP (PAN 74, Mixed 4-19 years)

We are currently looking to recruit a passionate and caring individual. Our school is a specialist provision for ASC pupils. We provide education for pupils aged between 4 and 19 years who have a primary need and diagnosis of Autism and who may be suffering social, emotional and behavioural problems in mainstream Education. This is an exciting opportunity to join our provision and play a key role in the development and learning of our students.

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Deputy Safeguarding Lead would form part of this role.
  • Work closely with the Eden Academy Lead for Family Services to develop new services and engage families.
  • Plan, evaluate and share good practice with the family service coordinators within the academy.
  • Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child health, safety and security; maintain confidentiality and data protection following GDPR and report any concerns to the relevant person.
