We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a busy and growing team, delivering maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites. This is predominantly a static role, based in Alnwick with occasional travel to the wider Northumberland region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer from a facilities, manufacturing, industrial, or plant background who is looking for a varied role with long-term stability and development.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across a range of building systems, ensuring all plant and equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver PPM and reactive maintenance across commercial sites
- Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems
- Maintenance of building services including lighting, power, HVAC plant, and associated equipment
- Carry out minor installation and upgrade works
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
