Branta are seeking a Director of Health, Safety & Environment to lead safety, risk management, and environmental strategy across a multi-site estate. Reporting to executive leadership, you will build a high-performing safety culture, oversee regulatory compliance, and drive our sustainability and decarbonisation agenda.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- HSE Strategy & Governance: Own corporate H&S policy, advise executive leadership on statutory changes, and manage the corporate Risk Register and audit schedules.
- Safety Culture & Training: Drive zero-harm initiatives, deliver H&S training, and reduce workplace accidents year-on-year against industry benchmarks.
- Contractor & Operations Management: Oversee multi-site safety compliance, contractor RAMS, and incident investigations.
- Sustainability & Environment: Lead carbon reduction, energy efficiency, waste management, and ISO environmental standards (14001/45001).
REQUIREMENTS
- Senior HSE leadership experience across multi-site corporate, industrial, or public-sector estates.
- CMIOSH / NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent senior safety qualification) plus IEMA credentials.
- Track record in ISO 14001 / 45001 management, H&S auditing, and executive stakeholder engagement.
