The Opportunity
Branta Recruitment is working with a premier North East building services firm that is looking for a technical specialist to join their growing maintenance division.

The Role
Joining a busy, high-energy mobile team, you will be the lead technician for a wide range of domestic gas and electrical appliances across a diverse North East portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Multi-Brand Repairs: Diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of domestic appliances, including gas cookers, range ovens, hobs, and integrated electrical goods.
  • Gas Safety & Servicing: Carrying out annual safety checks and performance tuning on gas-fired appliances to ensure 100% statutory compliance.
  • Fault-Finding: Using your electrical and mechanical knowledge to solve intermittent faults.
  • Technical Growth: Acting as the 'Domestic Expert' while training alongside Senior Commercial Engineers to learn the ropes of large-scale catering and heating plant.
  • Customer Excellence: Providing professional, clear advice to clients on appliance care, energy efficiency, and safety.

The Requirements:
We need a technician who is 'electrically minded' and has a genuine hunger to step up from domestic white goods into the commercial sector.

Qualifications: Current ACS Domestic Gas tickets (CCN1 & CKR1) are desired, not essential.
