Branta Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Fabric Technician to work on a static site in Chester, supporting the day-to-day maintenance of a well-maintained commercial building. The Role
As a Fabric Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive fabric maintenance and minor repairs across the site. The role suits a practical, hands-on individual who takes pride in quality workmanship and can turn their hand to a variety of basic building maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- General fabric maintenance and repairs
- Minor works to floors, walls, ceilings, doors, and fixtures
- Basic plumbing repairs (leaks, taps, toilets, pipework)
- Basic electrical tasks (lamp changes, socket fronts, visual checks – no testing)
- Joinery works including doors, locks, hinges, and fittings
- Painting, patch repairs, and cosmetic works
- Responding to reactive maintenance requests and completing PPMs
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard
About You
- Background in joinery, plumbing, or general building maintenance
- Comfortable carrying out basic multi-trade tasks
