Branta Recruitment are recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Facilities Management Contract Manager to lead the delivery of hard FM services across a portfolio of sites in the North East. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically qualified professional (Mechanical or Electrical bias) to step into a high-impact leadership role, overseeing operations, compliance, and commercial performance for a major contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of hard FM service delivery across multiple client sites, ensuring contractual performance and operational excellence.
- Manage and develop site-based engineering teams, promoting a high-performance, safety-first culture.
- Control budgets, drive cost-efficiency, and report on financial and operational KPIs.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, health & safety, and contractual obligations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for service delivery and escalation.
- Lead lifecycle planning, contract renewal strategies, and support asset upgrades and technical projects.
- Identify and implement service improvements, innovation, and value-added initiatives.
Requirements
- Recognised technical qualification (e.g. City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical discipline, or equivalent).
- Proven track record in hard FM contract management within a multi-site facilities environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, reporting, and delivering against KPIs.
- Confident leadership skills and experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
- Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
