We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy and growing facilities maintenance team. This is a mobile role, predominantly covering sites in and around Alnwick and wider Northumberland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrician with commercial maintenance experience looking for a stable role with variety and long-term progression.
The Role
- Delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works across a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Carring out electrical PPM and reactive maintenance across commercial sites
- Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of electrical systems
- Maintenance of lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and control systems
- Minor installation and upgrade works
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and industry regulations
- Completing job reports and updates via CAFM systems
- Supporting wider building services where required
What We’re Looking For
- Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
- Experience in commercial building maintenance / FM environments
- 2391 Inspection & Testing (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a mobile role
