Branta Recruitment is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing technical services team. This mobile role involves travelling across the Yorkshire region to carry out installations, servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on a wide range of equipment.
You’ll be working across a variety of commercial and public environments, including supermarkets, offices, schools, and hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and commission systems including splits, multi-splits, VRV/VRF, cold rooms, heat pumps, and chillers
- Carry out routine servicing, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and system upgrades
- Perform fault-finding and reactive repairs in line with manufacturer and safety standards
- Conduct site surveys, liaise with customers, and follow technical schematics
- Ensure all works are completed to a high standard, in compliance with H&S regulations and F-Gas requirements
- Complete reports and documentation accurately and on time
- Be part of a rotating on-call emergency cover for evenings/weekends as required
- F-Gas Certification (C&G 2079 or CITB J11) – essential
- Relevant vocational training or NVQs in refrigeration and air conditioning, such as:
- Level 2/3 NVQ Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Level 3 Certificate in Installing & Commissioning Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems
- Additional qualifications in Ammonia or COâ‚‚ systems (desirable)
