The Company: Our client is a respected mechanical and building services contractor delivering installation, service, and project works across commercial, healthcare, and industrial environments. With a strong reputation for quality and reliability, they are now seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Manager to lead project delivery across the North East. The Role: You will be responsible for managing air conditioning installation and refurbishment projects from initial enquiry through to completion. This hands-on management role involves overseeing site teams, subcontractors, budgets, and client relationships to ensure all works are completed safely, on time, and to specification. Key Responsibilities: * Manage multiple air conditioning and HVAC projects simultaneously. * Lead site teams and supervise subcontractors to ensure high-quality installations. * Carry out site surveys, produce quotations, and assist with tender preparation. * Oversee procurement of materials and equipment. * Monitor project progress, costs, and health & safety compliance. * Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery. * Ensure projects meet all F-Gas and environmental standards. * Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and apprentices. About You: * Proven experience managing HVAC or air conditioning projects (VRV/VRF, split, and ventilation systems). * F-Gas certified or strong technical understanding of A/C systems. * Experience managing engineers and subcontractors. * Excellent organisational and communication skills. * Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail. * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
