Have you held your F-Gas for a year or two and feel ready to step away from basic service and into high-level commercial engineering? On behalf of our client, a respected HVAC-R specialist, we are looking for a Refrigeration Engineer who has the foundational skills but is hungry to master the craft. Our client manages a diverse portfolio across London including commercial offices, premium retail, and hospitality and they are looking for someone they can mold into a top-tier Senior Engineer. It's a structured path to becoming one of the best-paid specialists in the city.

Advanced Training: Our client will pay for your specialized certifications (e.g., CO2, Hydrocarbons, or Manufacturer-specific training with brands like Foster or Williams).

Modern Fleet: A high-spec, air-conditioned van, fuel card, and the latest digital diagnostic tools.

Your Role:

  • Progressive Maintenance: Moving from simple PPMs to complex reactive fault-finding on cold rooms, walk-in freezers, and bespoke commercial cooling.
  • Diagnostics: Learning to identify electrical and mechanical failures with precision rather than just swapping parts.
  • F-Gas Management: Taking full ownership of refrigerant tracking and leak testing on modern, high-efficiency systems.
  • Building your professional reputation by advising site managers on system health and efficiency.

F-Gas Category 1 (2079): You must hold this and have used it in a commercial setting for at least 12 years.

Foundational Knowledge: NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.

Driving License: Bonus Points if You Have: Basic experience with Air Conditioning (Splits/VRF).
