We are supporting a leading FE college to recruit a passionate Plumbing & Heating Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching across Levels 13 and apprenticeships. What you'll do:

  • Deliver engaging theory and practical lessons across Plumbing & Heating programmes
  • Create high-quality learning materials for diverse learners
  • Provide constructive feedback to support learner achievement
  • Support learners through tutorials and pastoral guidance
  • Maintain accurate progress and achievement records
  • Keep curriculum content aligned with industry standards
  • Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance

What we're looking for:

  • Essential (or willing to work towards):
  • Level 3 Plumbing & Heating qualification
  • Strong industry background (domestic or commercial)
  • Ability to deliver practical and theory sessions
  • Level 2 English & Maths (or willingness to achieve)
  • Clear communication and strong organisational skills
  • Desirable:
  • Teaching qualification (L5 DET/PGCE)
  • Assessor qualification (CAVA/TAQA)
  • Gas Safe registration
  • Experience mentoring apprentices or junior engineers
