We are partnering with a respected commercial catering specialist who services a wide range of clients across the South West from restaurants and hotels to education and healthcare sites. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Commercial Catering Engineer to join their field service team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys autonomy, variety, and delivering a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Service, maintenance, breakdown and repair of commercial catering appliances
- Working across sites such as restaurants, schools, hotels, leisure facilities and public sector kitchens
- Fault-finding on gas and electrical catering equipment
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with Gas Safe and company standards
- Completing job sheets, reports and compliance documentation
- Providing excellent customer service and representing the business professionally
- COMCAT qualifications (minimum COMCAT 1, 3 & 5)
- Experience working on commercial catering equipment
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach
- Good communication and customer-facing ability
- Electrical qualifications (e.g., 17th/18th Edition)
- COMCAT 2
- Experience in schools, hospitality, or facilities management environments
- Salary £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
- Door-to-door travel pay
- Overtime available (OTE £60k+)
- Company van, fuel card, tools, uniform
- Ongoing manufacturer training and development
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Pension, call-out allowance, and additional benefits
You will be working across the South West, including: Bristol, Bath, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Dorset, Devon, and surrounding areas.
