Section Manager – Prepared (RTC)
We're looking for a proactive, hands-on Section Manager who loves getting stuck in, leading teams to deliver results, and driving continuous improvement. Why you'll enjoy this role
Lead the day-to-day running of an important RTC production section, keeping operations moving smoothly.
Drive performance against targets and audit standards including BRC, TFS, SMETA (and others).
Work with a management team that values continuous improvement
Support strong customer service levels to agreed targets.
Shift pattern : Week 1 – Wednesday and Thursday. Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Hours : 06:00 to Finish
Salary : £41,193 per annum
What you'll be doing
Manage all processes in your area to meet business targets and audit requirements.
Oversee and lead production to deliver output, quality and compliance.
Own labour planning and cost control, including management of agency workers.
Lead and develop your team (team size varies by area), ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time.
Drive profitability of the production operation through efficient, controlled operations.
Ensure allergen awareness and controls are understood and implemented (RTC only).
Drive continuous improvement across operations, process and standards.
Maintain customer service levels in line with agreed targets.
What we want from you
Previous experience in food manufacturing.
Previous experience of leading teams and delivering results.
Strong understanding of technical and compliance requirements.
IOSH certified.
Food Safety Level 3.
