Shift Pattern:
Week 1: Thursday & Friday 06:30-18:00, Saturday 06:30-17:00
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 06:30-20:00, Saturday 06:30-17:00
Our site in Abernethy is currently seeking a reliable, safety-conscious and motivated Pallet Barrow Operative to join our Operations team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth movement of product and packaging materials throughout the factory while supporting our grading and packing operations.

The ideal candidate will have:
Good awareness of health and safety in a manufacturing environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A positive and flexible attitude towards changing priorities
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Experience working within a production, warehouse or manufacturing environment
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
A valid Pallet Barrow licence or willingness to be trained
Food manufacturing experience would be advantageous
Examples of duties include:
Moving product and packaging materials safely around operational areas using company equipment
Carrying out safety checks in line with company procedures and training
Supporting grading and packing operations to ensure production targets are achieved
Completing quality and production paperwork accurately and on time
Monitoring product quality and escalating any concerns to QA or Line Management
Ensuring stock rotation and FIFO processes are followed
Assisting with machine monitoring and reporting any issues to supervisors
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, housekeeping and food safety
Supporting changeovers and helping minimise downtime
Working collaboratively with colleagues to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Training and supporting new team members where required
Adopting a "Clean As You Go" approach to keep work areas safe and organised
