We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Stock Counter to join our night shift team just outside of Lincoln!
This role plays an important part in keeping stock records accurate, supporting efficient stock movement, and helping ensure the smooth running of our food production supply chain.
Working closely with production, planning, despatch and procurement teams, you will help make sure raw materials, packaging and finished goods are available when needed, while supporting high standards of stock control, hygiene and health and safety.
Shift Pattern and Hours Sunday to Thursday
19.30 - 04.00
What youll be doing Maintaining accurate and up-to-date stock records for raw materials, packaging and finished goods.
Booking in deliveries and ensuring delivery notes are controlled and passed to the procurement team promptly.
Using the IFS system to support full stock accountability.
Monitoring supplier deliveries and supporting timely stock replenishment.
Overseeing the efficient movement of stock within the factory and between storage areas.
Supporting stock rotation using First In, First Out principles to help reduce waste.
Carrying out regular stock counts, investigating discrepancies and raising queries with the relevant teams.
Reporting damaged, expired or incorrect stock and providing stock updates to operations and production teams.
About you Previous stock control, stock counting or despatch experience.
Strong attention to detail and confidence working with stock records and systems.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different departments.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities in a busy production environment.
A practical, problem-solving approach when investigating variances or stock queries. xiskglj
