We're looking for a QA Operative to join our night shift in our Mash Factory!
You'll take responsibility for monitoring the quality of our finished product and ensuring that it consistently meets our customers' high standards.
Duties include:
Traceability exercisesUndertake effective Internal Audits to ensure compliance with Company policies and proceduresEnsuring samples are collected for testing schedules and testing schedules are metLogging micro samplesAccurate carrying out of positive release checks for all finished productsGMP audits/ Glass and plastic audits, including generation of improvement areas, completing databaseEnsure close outs of non-conformancesSampling and recording of finished product shelf lifeCarry out of routine checks including temperature, probe calibrations, product checks etc.
Skills and experience:
Prior experience of Quality AssurancePractical experience in the food manufacturing industryGood practical working knowledge of food safety legislationEssential skills for the role are a good level of attention to detail, good organisation and interpersonal skills
Shift Pattern:
Sunday to Thursday
17.00 to Finish (approximately 8 hour shifts)
