The Opportunity
AsDespatch Manager, youll play a pivotal role in ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, resources are optimised, and operations meet both internal and external standards including BRC and customer audits. Youll also be a key voice in driving continuous improvement across our despatch processes.
What Youll Be Doing
- Leading the Despatch department to meet health & safety, quality, and efficiency targets
- Downloading customer orders and planning vehicle despatches
- Managing trailer/equipment availability and fleet asset maintenance
- Monitoring KPIs to drive cost control and labour efficiency
- Ensuring compliance with audits, training, and SOPs
- Coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and customers to maintain service levels
- Managing offsite storage operations during peak periods, ensuring efficient use of external facilities and seamless coordination with internal teams
- Overseeing the Fresh departments MHE (Materials Handling Equipment), tracking and trending spend including repairs and servicing, and identifying opportunities for cost savings
- Leading initiatives to improve performance in areas such as equipment utilisation, operational efficiency, and reliability

What Youll Bring
- Preferred:Minimum 2 years in a management role within FMCG
- Essential:Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication
