About The Role
We are looking for a solicitor with a strong interest in contentious intellectual property litigation to join our growing team. This role is suited to a junior to mid-level associate (1‑3 PQE) who is looking to develop their litigation career within a specialist IP firm, working on high‑quality, high‑profile matters. You will work closely with Partners and senior lawyers on a range of contentious IP matters, while also taking ownership of discrete workstreams and smaller matters with appropriate supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting on a range of IP litigation matters, including High Court disputes
- Drafting key documents such as letters of claim, pleadings and witness statements
- Supporting case strategy and progression of matters through the litigation lifecycle
- Managing smaller matters and workstreams with increasing autonomy
- Building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to team growth
Experience Required
- 1‑3 years’ PQE with experience in litigation (IP experience strongly preferred)
- Exposure to High Court litigation or complex disputes
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work proactively
- A genuine interest in intellectual property law and contentious work

Employment Details
- Salary: Base salary at market rate in line with experience plus bonus scheme
- Location: London E1 8BU
- Contract: Full‑Time, Permanent
- Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:30am to 5:30pm
- Hybrid: 3 days working in office, 2 days working from home
- Holidays: 25 days plus bank holiday
