We work with our clients to enhance their reputation with public affairs stakeholders, resolve policy challenges, and shape their regulatory and policy environment to support commercial objectives.
The award-winning Public Affairs team sits within our wider Corporate Affairs & Responsible Business Practice, allowing for fully integrated policy and media work. We’re growing – with rapid expansion over the last year, we now need to bolster our team!

Our clients include some of the most interesting, dynamic and disruptive brands around. From semiconductor manufacturing and women’s health, to food and drink producers and clean energy technology, we work on some of the most important and purposeful policy issues facing the UK today.
About the role
As an Account Manager you will be at the heart of driving activity for your clients, working alongside colleagues in our media engagement, social and digital, studio and health teams. You will also make a significant contribution to identifying and securing new business opportunities for the team.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing day-to-day client account activities: Ensuring that all activities to further our clients’ programmes are delivered to an outstanding standard, on time, and within budget
- Client liaison: You’ll be the main point of contact for your clients – keeping them up to date with account developments, sharing the excellent results you achieve, and ensuring that they are happy with progress.
- Monitoring and political intelligence: You will have your ear close to the ground, coordinating monitoring across our team and clients, feeding intelligence back to clients in timely manner, and ensuring that that insight helps direct the focuses of our programme.
- Developing outstanding content for clients: Developing a range of content to support our clients’ engagement, including briefings for stakeholder meetings, consultation responses, reports and position papers.
- Contributing to marketing and new business activities: We expect our Account Managers to support with the team’s new business activity, including writing blogs and other content on political topics, researching new business leads, and supporting on new business pitch activities
About you
If you’re a political geek, you’ll fit in well with our team. We love to discuss and debate what’s going on in politics – and we’ll need you to too. It’s that interest and thoughtfulness that means we offer clients outstanding counsel and advice.
We’re particularly keen to hear from candidates with current or previous experience working in a public affairs or communications agency, who are used to juggling multiple clients and delivering high-quality work at pace.
Beyond that, we’ll need you to have:
- An excellent understanding of people and process in Whitehall, Westminster and the devolved administrations, as well as the political and policy environment
- A creative mind, able to develop innovative and interesting approaches to delivering our clients’ key advocacy
- Great political instincts around what works and what doesn’t when it comes to influencing policy development
- Outstanding writing skills, and an understanding of when to use different styles of writing for different audiences and purposes
- Excellent attention to detail both when creating content from scratch and reviewing colleagues’ work
