ROLE OVERVIEW

A lead creative role across Art&Graft’s creative output, instrumental in the development of new concepts, visual languages and consistently improving our creative offering to attract project briefs and brand partners. Working across motion projects in 2D, you know how to elevate design work and bring keyframes to life. Your process is underpinned by a strong foundation of conceptual thinking and an understanding of brand systems and toolkits. We’re looking for a leader, a mentor and role model; someone with strong communication skills that can inspire our team and impress our brand partners.

WHO YOU ARE

  • A concept-led generalist with a focus on 2D motion design.
  • Creatively curious and passionate about the creative industry.
  • 5+ years experience in the industry in a relevant position.
  • Top level design and animation skills in 2D, with a focussed attention to detail.
  • Collaborative by nature — you’re able to communicate clearly, listen when required and find answers with others.
  • Experience in leading projects, managing teams and presenting to clients.
  • Can-do attitude — solution oriented, not problem focused.
  • Humble and hard-working.
  • Able to foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Expert skills in After Effects and Figma.
  • A builder of toolkits and systems.
  • Professional knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Keynote and Google Slides.
  • Able to cope with the pressure of working on multiple projects with different requirements.
  • Prepared to sometimes work more than standard hours at short notice to get the job done.
  • Someone with an eye on the future and strong desire to keep up-to-date with emerging design technologies and animation techniques.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Be part of a global team of talented and versatile artists in our London studio.
  • Deliver high-quality motion design projects, on a range of briefs, for progressive brands around the world.
  • Work diligently to meet the high creative standards of the studio.
  • Get involved with both commercial and studio projects.
  • Step up to take a lead creative role on specified projects.
  • Liaise with the production team to advise on scheduling and pipeline decisions.
  • Support the Team Leads and Creative Director in kicking-off projects.
  • Give project feedback to nurture and guide the team around you.
  • Help to uphold the studio’s standards of excellence by leading by example.
  • Participate in studio initiatives like Spark Sessions, Masterclasses and Mentoring.
  • Contribute to a studio environment that encourages the highest standards of creativity, collaboration and collective responsibility.
  • Attend and present in client meetings and represent the studio at industry events.
