Senior Salmon are a recruitment agency based in Mansfield and we are looking for Steel Fixers to work at our clients Pre-cast facility in Worksop. (THIS IS NOT SITE WORK)
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape steel bars using hand and power tools.
- Use mechanical and manual tools to position steel bars in place.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout.
- Install steel bars into concrete forms, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
- Secure steel bars with clamps, wire, or welds, and check for accuracy and stability.
Candidates Must Have
- Proven experience as a Steel Fixer in a similar role.
- Own transport to get to the location.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
These positions are being advertised as temporary to permanent roles working within a high speed factory setting. Permanent jobs will be available for the correct candidates after a period on agency. Pay rates are depending on shifts (£17.50 per hour on days up to £23.00 per hour on nights.) All our roles are PAYE and we cannot accept CIS.
