We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Picker to join our client based in South Normanton – DE55. Working hours are Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5:30 PM.
Duties
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods as required.
- Operate warehouse equipment to move stock safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the shipping and receiving of materials, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
- Engage in picking and packing orders for dispatch, ensuring all items are correctly labelled and prepared for delivery.
- Maintain an organised warehouse environment by keeping stock neatly arranged and easily accessible.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
The role will initially start on a temporary basis but has the opportunity to lead to permanent for the right candidate.
