We are looking for Play workers in Weston-Super-Mare to support disabled children and young people at learning disability charity Brandon Trust’s holiday play scheme; it’s a rewarding role where you choose to work the days that suit you.
Children enjoy fun activities at the scheme that will run during the summer and school holiday in Weston-Super-Mare. The play scheme will operate Monday to Friday and hours of work are generally 9:00am – 3:30pm, although there may be the occasional longer day.
If you are successfully shortlisted, we will invite you to our assessment centre, which will be held on 30th May – This will be a fun and friendly way to get to know each other better (we’ve had amazing feedback from past candidates!).
Our recruitment process is designed to be engaging, supportive, and a bit different from the usual – and we hope you’ll love it as much as we do! The deadline to submit your application is 27th May to have the opportunity to be included in the assessment centre.
Brandon exists to enable children, young people and adults with a learning disability, autism, or both, to live life in the way they choose. We provide high-quality, individualised support to around 1,600 people and have a staff team of over 2,000. Operating across southern England and London, support is provided by a widely dispersed workforce, including public spaces and the homes of the people we support.
