In this role, we will provide you with a full training package to upskill you to deliver quality care across all our services in the West Cornwall area. Flexibility and adaptability are crucial skills for working in this fast-paced environment. The team will consist of a skilled and experienced workforce that provides consistency, continuity, and quality of care. You'll work across West Cornwall, with rostering including one on-call week in four, where you will collaborate closely with our on-call managers to cover shifts. A full UK manual driving licence and access to a car is needed for this role.

  • Sleep-ins paid at £60 extra (15.16 p/h. This rate includes an enhancement of 20% for the role. The standard Support Worker rate of £12.64 - £12.92 will apply when not working in the Response Team)

  • Empower the people we support to live the lives they want to lead.
  • Develop daily living skills.
  • Support the people we support to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training, or friendships.
  • Contribute to, develop, and implement the individuals' care plans.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with the people we support, their family members, and external professionals.
  • Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support.

A driving licence is essential for this role.
