The Senior Project Manager's role
The Senior Project Manager will manage multiple projects across Central and Greater London, often acting as the main client contact. Project values typically range from £10 million to £150 million and include a mix of new build and complex refurbishment schemes.
Responsibilities
- Preparing project briefs and execution plans
- Managing planning and procurement
- Leading design and delivery teams
- Chairing client and contractor meetings
- Overseeing risk, quality, and cost
This role also involves mentoring junior team members and supporting the wider business with client development and bid activity.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Project Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or similar construction-related subject
- Minimum of 6 years consultancy experience within the UK construction industry
- Proven ability to deliver commercial or high-end residential projects
- Strong understanding of JCT contract administration and construction delivery
- Excellent communication, leadership and client relationship management skills
- Chartered or working towards chartership (MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB)
