A forward-thinking, multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a motivated Trainee Fire Engineer to join their growing Fire Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Fire Engineer looking to develop technical knowledge across fire strategies, fire safety design and building regulations.
The successful Trainee Fire Engineer will support senior members of the team with fire strategy reports, fire safety reviews, site inspections and design team meetings. The Trainee Fire Engineer will gain exposure to residential, commercial, education and mixed-use projects, while developing a strong understanding of Approved Document B, BS 9999 and wider fire safety guidance.
The ideal Trainee Fire Engineer will have:
- A fire engineering, building services, construction or engineering-related degree
- A genuine interest in fire safety and fire engineering
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A willingness to learn from experienced Fire Engineers
- An understanding of UK Building Regulations would be beneficial
