A well-established construction consultancy in Edinburgh is looking for a Project Manager to join their growing team. This is a strong opportunity for a Project Manager with construction consultancy experience to work across a varied project portfolio while developing their long-term career.
The Project Manager will be supporting projects across residential, commercial, public sector, and mixed-use schemes, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and senior team members. This role would suit a capable Project Manager who is confident managing project responsibilities, communicating with stakeholders, and supporting projects from inception through to completion. The successful candidate will be organised, professional, and keen to progress within a respected consultancy environment. You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Project Manager will support the delivery of construction projects across Edinburgh and the wider Scotland region, assisting with both pre-contract and post-contract project stages. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing reports
- Managing programmes
- Coordinating consultants
- Chairing meetings
- Tracking risks
- Liaising with contractors
- Supporting procurement and contract administration duties
The Project Manager will also assist with Employer's Agent duties where required, helping to manage JCT contracts, instructions, valuations, change control, progress updates, and handover processes. The successful Project Manager will have:
- Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
- Experience as a Project Manager or a strong Assistant Project Manager ready to step up

- A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a similar construction-related subject
- MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or working towards a relevant professional qualification
- Good knowledge of JCT contracts and project delivery processes
- Employer's Agent experience would be beneficial
- Strong communication, organisation, and client-facing skills
- A proactive and professional approach to project delivery
