An established, forward-thinking UK Construction Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their thriving Edinburgh office. The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of a varied portfolio of schemes, including: £45m landmark hotel development in Edinburgh city centre £15m PBSA scheme in a prime location £10m serviced apartment project Major infrastructure and masterplanning work at Edinburgh Airport Leisure facilities, private residential schemes, steel-framed industrial sheds, and select projects in Newcastle/DurhamYou will manage projects from inception through to completion, taking responsibility for cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and client liaison. The consultancy values autonomy – there\’s no micromanagement, no repetitive frameworks – and encourages a proactive approach. This is a dynamic, social team of 7 Quantity Surveyors within a wider office of 12-15, supported by Project Managers and administrative staff. With an excellent track record of developing talent, they offer a real meritocracy, with pathways into Associate-level roles for ambitious individuals.
