A prestigious and large multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced Principal Designer to join their team in Lincoln. The successful Principal Designer will work within a dedicated team of likeminded professionals, providing comprehensive design and health and safety services across a variety of projects. The role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for significant career progression and professional development. The successful Principal Designer will Collaborate closely with the team to deliver Principal Designer services, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations. Work on a diverse range of projects, from small-scale residential developments to large commercial ventures. Engage with clients, designers, and contractors to provide expert advice on health and safety risk management. Manage the pre-construction phase, including the preparation of pre-construction information and design risk assessments. Lead CDM workshops and contribute to the development of design safety strategies. To be considered for the role of Principal Designer, candidates should have At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a consultancy environment. A strong background in construction design and management, with specific experience in delivering Principal Designer services. NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety or equivalent qualification. Ideally a membership in a relevant professional body, such as IOSH or APS. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. In Return A competitive salary of up to £60,000 per annum.
