The Senior Debt Recovery Lawyer\’s role
The Senior Debt Recovery Lawyer will lead a team of fee earners and paralegals, providing technical supervision and mentoring while also handling their own portfolio of work. You\’ll manage a broad range of matters including pre-legal recoveries, litigation, enforcement proceedings and insolvency-related actions.
In addition to client-facing responsibilities, you\’ll play a key role in developing internal processes and contributing to business development. A background in commercial recoveries is essential, and experience with public sector debt will be advantageous.
The Senior Debt Recovery Lawyer
8+ years\’ PQE in debt recovery, civil litigation, or enforcement
Strong leadership background – having built, managed, or mentored a team in a law firm setting
Experience with complex, high-volume debt recovery, ideally across both commercial and public sector portfolios
Confident handling enforcement actions, insolvency proceedings and pre-legal collections
Excellent client relationship and file management skills
