A leading architectural practice is seeking a creative and highly organised Senior Bid Coordinator to join its London team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bid Coordinator to take ownership of key and high-value submissions, support wider work-winning activity and contribute to the continued development of a successful bids function.
The Senior Bid Coordinator will manage multiple submissions across a range of sectors, helping to produce compelling, accurate and visually strong proposals.
Responsibilities will include:- Managing the full bid process from initial opportunity through to final submission
- Coordinating bid programmes, internal deadlines and stakeholder input
- Managing procurement portals and different submission methods
- Producing high-quality bid documents using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign
- Writing, editing and reviewing bid responses
- Ensuring submissions are accurate, consistent and aligned with internal standards
- Building strong relationships with partners, senior stakeholders and technical teams
- Supporting the development and implementation of work-winning strategies
- Producing proposals, presentation materials and supporting documents
- Maintaining internal bid libraries, including CVs, project case studies and photography
- Reviewing bid outcomes and supporting lessons-learned activity following wins and losses
- Identifying opportunities to improve bid processes and introduce efficiencies
- Collaborating with business development and marketing colleagues
- Supporting multiple bids with differing deadlines and stakeholder requirements
- Helping the wider bids team deliver longer-term strategic objectives
- Previous experience in bid coordination
- Experience within architecture, construction, consultancy or the wider built environment
- Strong knowledge of the end-to-end bid process
- Excellent Adobe InDesign skills
- Strong bid writing, editing and proofreading ability
- Experience using procurement portals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- The ability to manage several live bids and competing deadlines
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and partners
- Experience using CMAP and OpenAsset would be advantageous
- Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
- 25 days' annual leave (increases with length of service, up to 30 days)
