A growing, people-focused construction consultancy based in Tunbridge Wells is seeking an ambitious Project Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a broad range of residential, commercial, education, and healthcare projects throughout the South East.

Responsibilities

  • The Project Quantity Surveyor will oversee cost management across multiple live projects, supporting delivery from feasibility through to completion.
  • Managing procurement activities, including preparing tender documents and reviewing submissions.
  • Assisting with contractor appointments.
  • Working directly with clients, contractors and consultants to drive projects commercially and operationally.
  • Administering contracts, primarily under JCT forms, and managing valuations, variations and final accounts.

Ideal Candidate

  • 3-5 years UK experience within a consultancy or contractor environment.
  • Experience across pre‑ and post‑contract duties and confidence communicating with project stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of JCT contracts; a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline preferred.
  • MRICS or APC progression viewed positively.
  • Organised, commercially aware and eager to take ownership of projects.
