A well-established, London-based law firm is seeking a Residential Property Paralegal to join their busy conveyancing department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Residential Property Paralegal looking to gain hands-on experience within a supportive and professional environment. The Residential Property Paralegal\’s role

The Residential Property Paralegal will be responsible for supporting fee earners with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions. Day-to-day duties will include:

  • Conducting searches and drafting reports

  • Preparing contracts, transfer deeds and other legal documents

  • Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and solicitors

  • Managing post-completion formalities including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications

  • Keeping case files and client information up to date

  • Assisting with administrative duties across the wider team as required

This is a client-facing role that will require strong communication skills, a high level of organisation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The Residential Property Paralegal

The successful Residential Property Paralegal will ideally have:

  • 6-12 months\’ experience working in a residential property department, ideally within a Band 2 or Band 3 Legal 500 firm

  • A Law degree or equivalent legal qualification (e.g. LPC/SQE1)

  • A good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Familiarity with case management systems and Microsoft Office
