A well-established construction and property consultancy is now seeking a driven Project Quantity Surveyor to join their Reading office. This Project Quantity Surveyor role offers the opportunity for a quantity surveyor to work across a range of UK construction projects while developing strong technical quantity surveying and client-facing experience. The Project Quantity Surveyor will be based in Reading and will play a key role within an expanding quantity surveying team, supporting project delivery and commercial management.

The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will be joining a multi-discipline construction consultancy providing cost management and project services across several sectors. The business continues to secure repeat work through long-term client relationships, offering a stable environment for a quantity surveyor looking to progress their career within quantity surveying.

As the Project Quantity Surveyor, you will work alongside senior cost consultants and project managers, supporting projects throughout the full construction lifecycle.

The role will include:

  • Assisting with cost planning, budgeting, and financial control
  • Preparation of tender documentation and tender analysis
  • Procurement support and contractor engagement
  • Interim valuations, cost reporting, and change management
  • Assisting with contract administration and final accounts
  • Liaison with clients, consultants, and design teams

You will be a motivated and commercially aware Project Quantity Surveyor with experience in the UK construction market. Applications from non-construction related backgrounds will not be considered.

The Project Quantity Surveyor must have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
  • Experience working on UK construction projects
  • Understanding of standard forms of contract
  • Ability to interface with clients and wider project teams
  • Interest in developing a long-term career in quantity surveying

In return, £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependant on experience), bonus, car allowance, healthcare, life cover.
