A well-established London law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join its expanding Private Client team in Whitechapel. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to manage a varied and complex caseload while playing a key role in the continued growth of the department. The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of private client matters, including wills, probate, trusts, tax planning and Court of Protection work.

The successful Private Client Solicitor will manage their own caseload and provide high-quality advice to individuals and families across a range of private client matters. Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload covering wills, probate, trusts, tax and Court of Protection matters
  • Advising clients on complex estate planning and inheritance tax matters
  • Drafting wills, trusts and associated legal documents
  • Handling probate and estate administration matters
  • Advising on deputyships and Court of Protection matters
  • Building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
  • Supporting the continued development and growth of the Private Client team
  • Contributing to business development activities and strengthening client relationships
  • Maintaining high standards of client care, compliance and file management

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' post-qualification experience in Private Client law
  • Strong experience across wills, probate, trusts and tax matters
  • Experience with Court of Protection and deputyship matters desirable
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills
  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently
  • Commercially aware with an interest in business development
  • Strong client care and relationship-building skills
  • Experience using case management systems and legal technology
