A respected fire engineering consultancy is looking for a Passive Fire Technical Manager to take a leading role in their London team, working across complex projects and helping build a specialist service line within a high performing team. The Passive Fire Technical Manager will take ownership of passive fire evaluation services, particularly around fire doors, product performance, and technical assessments. Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing fire test evidence and applying sound engineering judgement to develop bespoke passive fire solutions.
- Working closely with design teams, contractors, and certification bodies to deliver commercially and technically robust services.
- Supporting and guiding the wider team in delivering high-quality fire strategies and designs, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Supporting the growth of the service through developing client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
- Preparing accurate fee proposals, quotes, and financial forecasts to support profitable delivery.
- Assisting the wider business in winning, retaining, and expanding work streams.
As the team grows, the Passive Fire Technical Manager will step into a position leading a regional team, shaping standards, and influencing how the service develops long term.
The Passive Fire Technical Manager will:
- Possess a strong passive fire background with experience around fire doors and product evaluation.
