A leading UK law firm is seeking a Housing Paralegal to join its thriving Housing team, supporting experienced fee earners and Partners on a varied caseload of housing management and litigation matters.
This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with an interest in housing litigation and social housing to develop their legal experience within a busy and growing team.
The Role
Supporting fee earners on anti-social behaviour matters and breach of tenancy injunction applications.
Assisting with housing management possession proceedings.
Supporting disrepair claims, including pre-action correspondence, disclosure and liability assessments.
Assisting with applications for access injunctions.
Supporting general housing management advice relating to tenancy and occupancy issues.
Drafting legal documents, correspondence and court forms.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files using the case management system.
Preparing hearing bundles and supporting court-related processes.
Conducting legal research and assisting with client instructions.
Providing general administrative and case management support across the team.
About You
Genuine interest in housing litigation and social housing.
Previous paralegal or relevant legal experience.
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
