A growing London law firm based in Canary Wharf is seeking a Paralegal to join its Post Completion Conveyancing team. This Paralegal role focuses on post completion conveyancing work, supporting the progression of residential property files following completion. The Paralegal will be responsible for ensuring registrations, submissions and file closure tasks are completed accurately and within strict deadlines. This Paralegal opportunity suits someone with at least 6 months' conveyancing or post completion experience looking to develop within a structured property team.

The successful Paralegal will join a well established conveyancing team of around 30 people within a modern Canary Wharf office. The team is led by an experienced Partner and is focused on delivering a consistent and efficient property service while supporting junior legal professionals in developing their technical conveyancing skills.

As the Paralegal you will support the conveyancing team with a focus on post completion matters. The role will include:

  • Preparing and submitting SDLT returns
  • Managing Land Registry applications and requisitions
  • Monitoring post completion deadlines and checklists
  • Reviewing completion documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Updating case management systems
  • Liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors and managing agents

You will have some experience within conveyancing or post completion work and a strong interest in residential property law. The Paralegal must have:

  • At least 6 months' experience in conveyancing or post completion work
  • Experience or exposure to SDLT and Land Registry processes (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisation and ability to manage deadlines
