A leading UK law firm is looking to appoint a Paralegal to join its highly regarded Real Estate team in London, based close to St Paul's. This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal with an interest in commercial property, landlord and tenant matters and transactional real estate work to develop within a professional, supportive and well-established legal environment.

The successful Paralegal will work closely with experienced solicitors and partners, supporting a busy team on a range of commercial property matters. This Paralegal role will have a strong focus on landlord and tenant work, including:

  • Commercial lease renewals
  • 1954 Act matters
  • Statutory documentation
  • General real estate support for a varied client base

The firm has a strong reputation across the UK, with a collaborative culture, high-quality client work and a clear commitment to developing junior legal talent. The London office offers a professional but down-to-earth environment, giving the successful candidate the chance to gain meaningful hands-on experience within a respected commercial property team.

The Paralegal's role includes:

  • Assisting with commercial landlord and tenant matters
  • Supporting lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
  • Preparing and managing statutory documentation
  • Drafting and reviewing basic property-related documents
  • Assisting with notices, licences, deeds and lease-related correspondence
  • Preparing transaction bibles and completion documents
  • Carrying out title checks, searches and Companies House checks
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents and third parties
  • Managing deadlines, document production and administrative support across live matters
  • Supporting fee earners on wider commercial property transactions where required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous paralegal experience within commercial property, real estate or landlord and tenant work
  • Exposure to 1954 Act lease renewals would be highly advantageous
  • Experience preparing statutory notices or property documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • A proactive, professional and reliable approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage deadlines and support multiple fee earners
  • A genuine interest in building a career within commercial property law
