A specialist fire consultancy is seeking a knowledgeable Fire Safety Advisor to join their growing team. The successful Fire Safety Advisor will support a varied portfolio of residential, commercial, healthcare, education, and mixed‑use buildings, providing practical fire safety advice to clients across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Fire Safety Advisor who enjoys technical work, client interaction, and supporting organisations with their fire safety duties. The Fire Safety Advisor will work closely with building owners, managing agents, developers, contractors, and internal fire consultants.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice on fire safety management, compliance, evacuation procedures, fire doors, compartmentation, means of escape, signage, emergency lighting, and general fire precautions.
  • Prepare technical reports, attend client meetings, support site inspections, review fire safety documentation, and help clients understand their responsibilities under UK fire safety legislation.
Qualifications:
  • Experience within fire safety, fire consultancy, housing, facilities management, or building compliance.
  • A relevant qualification such as NEBOSH Fire, FPA, IFE, or similar.
  • Good knowledge of the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order, Fire Safety Act, and Building Safety Act.
  • Experience reviewing fire safety procedures and building compliance documentation.
  • Strong report writing and communication skills.
  • A practical, organised, and client-focused approach.
  • A full UK driving licence would be beneficial.
