A growing construction consultancy in the heart of Manchester is looking to appoint an ambitious Project Manager to join their expanding team. The consultancy has secured several long-term frameworks and private sector clients across Greater Manchester, and the incoming Project Manager will help deliver commercial office, school, and college projects typically ranging between £3m-£25m.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated Project Manager to join a forward-thinking consultancy that values long-term development and provides full chartership support. The Project Manager will work across a variety of projects, building excellent client relationships and working closely with senior colleagues to deliver quality outcomes.
To be considered, you must have previous experience in a construction consultancy setting - applications from those with only contractor-side experience will not be considered for this Project Manager role.
The successful Project Manager will be expected to manage their own portfolio of smaller schemes, and assist on larger developments as part of a wider team.
Key duties include:
- Leading pre-contract activity, feasibility, and client engagement
- Drafting project execution plans and monitoring progress
- Chairing meetings and producing reports for clients and stakeholders
- Managing consultants and contractors through design and delivery stages
- Supporting junior PMs and contributing to internal project reviews

- Minimum 3 years in a construction consultancy role
- Experience working across education or commercial sectors
- Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Working towards MRICS or MAPM (support available)
